SAN FRANCISCO KICKOFF, MAY 13th
The kickoff festivities will begin at approximately 7:15 AM on Saturday, May 13th, and be held at Portsmouth Square in Chinatown. For forty-five minutes, we will have a choir singing, a handful of individuals welcoming the team, and Mayor Brown will send the team off at approximately 8:00 AM. Mayor Menino will be doing the same at City Hall Plaza in Boston. CNN will be at both locations to document the ceremonies and broadcast them nationally.

The West Coast Team will be comprised of fifty team members. We are looking forward to having hundreds of you and your friends join us!

From Portsmouth Square, we will head east towards the Embarcadero, travel north towards Fort Point and the Golden Gate Bridge. After crossing the bridge, we will continue into downtown Sausalito then take the bike paths to the Tiburon Ferry Terminal, arriving there at 10:30 AM. We will take a ferry to Oakland and resume our human-powered propulsion along the Embarcadero, past Lake Merrit, and eventually reaching the Iron Horse Trail access in Walnut Creek at 1:00 PM. The day will culminate with our arrival at Antioch Community Park at 5:00 PM.

SACRAMENTO, MAY 14th
The day begins at 8:00 AM at Antioch Community Park. We will reach Oldtown Sacramento at 12:30 PM and finish the day in Downtown Folsom at 4:50 PM.

SALT LAKE CITY, MAY 19th - 20th
May 19th begins at 8:45 AM in Lehi on Willow Park Road. We arrive at the State Capitol in Salt Lake City at 1:00 PM and conduct outreach and school visits in the afternoon. We resume on May 20th at 8:45 AM at This is the Place Monument in Pioneer Trail State Park, have a midday stop at Echo Canyon Reservoir and finish the day in downtown Park City at 5:45 PM.

DENVER, MAY 23rd - 24th
May 23rd begins in the town of Aspen Park. On route to our 5:00 PM arrival in Denver's Centennial Park we hope stop by Columbine High School. May 24th begins at Centennial Park and culiminates in downtown Greeley.

KANSAS CITY, MAY 30th - 31st
May 30th begins at 8:30 AM at Riverfront Park in St. Joseph. We'll picnic at West Bend State Park at 12:30 PM and finish at 4:30 PM at Union Station in Kansas City. We resume on May 31st at 6:30am at Harris Memorial Park in Lees Summit. Our midday stop will be at Trail Park in Clinton and we will finish at 5:00 PM at Katy Trail Park in downtown Sedalia.

ST. LOUIS FINALE, JUNE 3rd
The day begins at 10:30 AM at Point Dusable Park in St. Charles. We will finish our journey at 3:30 PM when we reach the Riverfront Overlook Stage in front of the Arch!!!
