We started in San Francisco, CA on May 13th and finished in St. Louis, MO on June 3, 2000. Inline skates were our primary mode of transportation, however we also bicycled and handcycled.

The 22-day Face of America journey was a mission to promote the importance of fitness for everyone, the need for diverse individuals to work together, and the benefits of environmentally friendly transportation/ recreation.

Thanks to all of you who supported the Face of America by sending in tax-deductible donations and joining us along the route.

In St. Louis, under the Arch, we met the East Coast Team. They had bicycled, handcycled and skated all the way from Boston.
